Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mafia Koniaka's Lisandro Iraunkor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mafia Koniaka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Devidatta Vendetta scored to the left of an out of position Zbigniew Glapiak, making the score, 1-0. Lisandro Iraunkor struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jorge Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mafia Koniaka. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Wyrzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Iraunkor in the 24th minute of play. Lisandro Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Devidatta Vendetta got free with Zbigniew Glapiak in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devidatta Vendetta. In the 30th minute of the match Esmeralda AFC got a corner. Mafia Koniaka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Devidatta Vendetta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the match, Mafia Koniaka's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Calvino came free, but Zbigniew Glapiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Esmeralda AFC were awarded a corner. Devidatta Vendetta went to the cornerflag to take it. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Prokowski in the 38th minute of play. Jorge Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 40th minute Lisandro Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew Dalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Glapiak having to interfere. Mafia Koniaka's Zbigniew Glapiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mafia Koniaka from getting a goal against them. Devidatta Vendetta hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Mafia Koniaka's Radomil Dudkowski in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmeralda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 49 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lúcio da Silva who took care of the corner kick. Lúcio da Silva made a great header on Mafia Koniaka's corner, it was just that Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Dalli to make the kick off. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nicasio Fonda hit a great ball. Mafia Koniaka's Lisandro Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Nicasio Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Iraunkor came free, but Jorge Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mafia Koniaka's Jorge Armani threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radomil Dudkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Esmeralda AFC from getting a goal against them. Dobromir Prokowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jorge Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mafia Koniaka made a substitution. Przemyslaw Gierasik replaced Lisandro Iraunkor. If Ziemowit Sidorowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Sidorowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Armani. Ziemowit Sidorowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Wincenty Parajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Armani having to interfere. Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Esmeralda AFC from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the match, Wincenty Parajewski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani. Jorge Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
