Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Rompe Tibias Club's Ariel Osorio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rene Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Francisco Geofredo in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. In the 28th minute, Francisco Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of play forced Rompe Tibias Club's goalkeeper Rene Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. After a rather tough play, Rompe Tibias Club's Salvador Confesor got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Rompe Tibias Club's Ariel Osorio in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Rompe Tibias Club's Ariel Osorio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 47 in the game by Ariel Osorio from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rompe Tibias Club's Rene Gil got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Gil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 55th minute of play forced Rompe Tibias Club's goalkeeper Rene Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rompe Tibias Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano scored to the left of an out of position Rene Gil, making the score, 0-2. Rene Gil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Maximiliano Escribano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 79 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rompe Tibias Club's zone, Alberto Gisbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Gil came out of the goal and Alberto Gisbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Aguilera in the 90th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Rompe Tibias Club got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Confesor. The long shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 97th minute really tested Rene Gil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
