Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Boldur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Zoff came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Paul in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cormoranii -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cormoranii -MM-'s goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of play. Ramiro Paul's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ramiro Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Zoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Cormoranii -MM- got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Vulpe ran over to the corner to take the kick. 39 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Cornel Panaitescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dino Zoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Paul was the one to do the kick off. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Dino Zoff made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ramiro Paul put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cornel Panaitescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Panaitescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Dino Zoff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Ramiro Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Cormoranii -MM-'s corner Marcel Vulpe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Paul in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apolo Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Zoff skillfully saved the ball. Dino Zoff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. After 92 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Cormoranii -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cormoranii -MM-'s Ramiro Paul in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Cormoranii -MM- and deserved their victory. The Cormoranii -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
