Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalkeeper Kai Hammerslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Hammerslev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Kai Hammerslev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hammerslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kai Hammerslev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Hammerslev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kai Hammerslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Kai Hammerslev. Rosenhøj Boldklub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Weltz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Whitta charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Whitta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rosenhøj Boldklub getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sebastian Whitta hit a great ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. Stefan Wahl thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Kai Hammerslev, a very annoying self made goal in the 56th minute which led to 0-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalkeeper Kai Hammerslev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Kai Hammerslev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Rosenhøj Boldklub from getting a goal against them. Kai Hammerslev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kai Hammerslev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Rosenhøj Boldklub made a substitution. Pelle Erp replaced Stefan Wahl. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Kai Hammerslev however easily saved by the left post. Kai Hammerslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Kai Hammerslev managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rosenhøj Boldklub's Jan Motal was substituted for Kristof Sveje. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Kai Hammerslev in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kai Hammerslev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Werner Walcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than Rosenhøj Boldklub and deserved their victory. The Rosenhøj Boldklub players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
