Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Picapiedras FC's Juan Ibañez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Ibañez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Panama were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Picapiedras FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Bala Cañon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Picapiedras FC's Maicon Abraão got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Juan Ibañez. Picapiedras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Russ Barton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Hopgood hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picapiedras FC's Juan Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Ibañez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Picapiedras FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-3.
Maicon Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Picapiedras FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Barton came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Ibañez was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ibañez having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Barton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Ibañez. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Ibañez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Juan Ibañez came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 84th minute of the match, Alex Cambeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Ibañez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Bala Cañon came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Asier during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleto Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Hopgood in the 92nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Picapiedras FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
