When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through Fuerzas Armadas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oro Montes. In the 13th minute Xerardo Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 17thth minute of the game Xerardo Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fuerzas Armadas's Quinto Nobo in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quinto Nobo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Xerardo Amer in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Amer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 38th match minute, Fuerzas Armadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Rivas to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Amer in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerardo Amer in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Mateo Bastida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Nobo in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Amer in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Fuerzas Armadas's Oro Montes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Fuerzas Armadas from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Gaizkine Armada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerzas Armadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
