Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xerardo Amer started the match with the kick off. Eufrasio Aranzubia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eufrasio Aranzubia in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xerardo Amer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Xerardo Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Quinto Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oro Montes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinto Nobo in the 32nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fuerzas Armadas defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oro Montes. The Fuerzas Armadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oro Montes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Oro Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerardo Amer in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaizkine Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Xerardo Amer sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oro Montes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Nobo in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Fuerzas Armadas got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Bastida. In the 76th minute, Fuerzas Armadas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Xerardo Amer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Xerardo Amer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oro Montes. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. Fuerzas Armadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Oro Montes, making the score, 0-6. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oro Montes having to make a save. Oro Montes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
