Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phyperstars FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jerrod Castillo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrod Castillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Dunn had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Lautaro Navarro as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allen Goss was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrod Castillo. After a defensive mix-up in Phyperstars FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allen Goss came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Dunn in the 46th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phyperstars FC the free kick. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Phyperstars FC's goalkeeper Allen Goss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes in the game, Moises Tafalla fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Allen Goss having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Dunn came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Phyperstars FC's Jesus Molina got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ron McElroy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allen Goss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Ron McElroy in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Milagros Cabal. 82 minutes into the game, Rodger Emerson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phyperstars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 82 played minutes Phyperstars FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodger Emerson. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tracy Landry, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Phyperstars FC's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allen Goss came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allen Goss having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Phyperstars FC had won after a very even match.
