Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yerko Maloku received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Yerko Maloku slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlbey Tunçdağ in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gabriel Voineag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when İlbey Tunçdağ came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Voineag made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 30th minute, Yerko Maloku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Oliveira in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Javia in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when İlbey Tunçdağ got free with Julio Vera in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yerko Maloku got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İlbey Tunçdağ to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlbey Tunçdağ in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Shohoku FC's Yerko Maloku. But to his dismay, Yerko Maloku quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 67th minute Luís Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Shohoku FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When İlbey Tunçdağ came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Shohoku FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlbey Tunçdağ couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. İlbey Tunçdağ was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Shohoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Turcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Javia in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Shohoku FC from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Shohoku FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
