El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Chitila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Ernest Albu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jesus Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Jesus Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliodor Balaci was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wolves Academy's Eliodor Balaci got a free kick in the 50th minute. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliodor Balaci's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Iosif Chitila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Chitila. Wolves Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Wolves Academy's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Chitila came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Wolves Academy's Eliodor Balaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Wolves Academy's Iosif Chitila. Iosif Chitila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The El Salvador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Salvador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
