The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Derwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Los Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Abastas came free, but Eloy Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 63 played minutes Los Matadores got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Chorache. Pista Uno F.C.'s Rolando Areosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Derwin in the 67th minute of play. Marcelo Abastas had several of the Los Matadores's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Eloy Bittor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelo Abastass short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Eloy Bittor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pista Uno F.C. were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Los Matadores's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koldobika Sendeño took the corner. Eloy Bittor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Abastas's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Los Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Tristan came free, but Eloy Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ovidio Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pista Uno F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Tristan couldn't finish the play.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pista Uno F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
