The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yusuf Ziya Özkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Manuel Boieru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Boieru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Ferry Porsche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demir Aktaş in the 46th minute. The supporters of ---Atam Osmanlı--- booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferry Porsche was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yusuf Ziya Özkan came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute Manuel Boieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Manuel Boieru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferry Porsche in the 94th minute of play.
