After 5 minutes of play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jānis Lielais was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Liverpool F.C. After some careless play in the SK Annenieki defense, Ata Bircan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jānis Lielais. The SK Annenieki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jānis Lielais should have stopped the shot. Jānis Lielais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ata Bircan's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jānis Lielais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ata Bircan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andžejs Baumerts in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Ata Bircan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Andžejs Baumerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ata Bircan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jānis Lielais was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 minutes SK Annenieki's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tytus Lichucki who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Liverpool F.C. YNWA's corner Tytus Lichucki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jānis Lielais quite easily take care of the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Ata Bircan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ata Bircan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jānis Lielais having to make a save. In the 41stth minute of the game Ata Bircan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Liverpool F.C. YNWA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jessy Fux hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Ata Bircan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jānis Lielais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Dominik Zawacki was substituted for Panos Zounis. After the first half Liverpool F.C. YNWA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andžejs Baumerts made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SK Annenieki's zone, Ata Bircan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jānis Lielais came out of the goal and Ata Bircan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Andžejs Baumerts came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andžejs Baumerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jānis Lielais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ata Bircan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ata Bircan in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ata Bircan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ata Bircan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
