City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno de Andrade in the 35th minute of play. Damaso Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albi Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Damaso Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noroeste Paulista's Ronaldo Maradona was substituted for Nuno de Andrade.
