CemCeminay SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noroeste Paulista the free kick. 38 minutes into the game, one of CemCeminay SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. But to his dismay, Nuno de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The CemCeminay SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Noroeste Paulista were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ekrem Sümeroğlu made a kick off. Behlül Baloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Roldanillo having to interfere. Damaso Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekrem Sümeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, CemCeminay SK's Zekai İksir got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Czajka got free with Olov Zachrisson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Behlül Baloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Roldanillo having to interfere. Alfons Persson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Olov Zachrisson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olov Zachrisson was a little too slow when Nuno de Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldo Maradona could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Olov Zachrisson however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, CemCeminay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno de Andrade came free, but Olov Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Noroeste Paulista could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CemCeminay SK throughout the match.
