In the 2nd match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boguslaw Nowak to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Rawa came free, but Antonello Di Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Emanuel Nittel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roland Burdzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in STAL ST WOLA's zone, Cem Bauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Burdzel came out of the goal and Cem Bauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roland Burdzel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Woltering kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Roland Burdzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nittel in the 26th minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Roland Burdzel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vorwärts Lübeck booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Nowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Vorwärts Lübeck got a freekick which was hit by David Woltering. Antonello Di Martino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Rawa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ferit Port managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vorwärts Lübeck's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferit Port was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Burdzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedykt Rawa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roland Burdzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cem Bauer. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Wladyslaw Motowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAL ST WOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wladyslaw Motowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benedykt Rawa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Di Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Rawa in the 61st minute of play. Ferit Port received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Roland Burdzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Cem Bauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Burdzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wladyslaw Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedykt Rawa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Antonello Di Martino 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Benedykt Rawa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Di Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Benedykt Rawa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonello Di Martino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Boguslaw Nowak hit a great ball. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferit Port didn't get a good kick on the ball. The STAL ST WOLA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
