With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeferson Amaral in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonello Di Martino saved Vorwärts Lübeck from getting behind. In the 34th minute Leopoldo Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Di Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Vorwärts Lübeck's Emanuel Nittel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexsandro Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. Vorwärts Lübeck's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antonello Di Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Amaral in the 91st minute of play. Davi Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Emanuel Nittel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauã Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. If Cem Bauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
