When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Gallo Pinto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexsandro Netto. Ronald Robles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gallo Pinto in the 7th minute of play. Alexsandro Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gallo Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gallo Pinto in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexsandro Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Elizondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Sena in the 17th minute. Mauro Silva hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ronald Robles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Severino Siqueira got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Toledo made a kick off. Gallo Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. Rogelio Guardia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Netto made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gallo Pinto sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Elizondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Elizondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Velasco in the 82nd minute of play. Rolando Elizondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 95 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Toledo came free, but Rolando Elizondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
