In the 17th minute, Serafim Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Hayrettin Yaşam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sarı kaya FK from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Ege Yalaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sarı kaya FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ege Yalaz should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute of the match, Karol Panasewicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Ege Yalaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ali Erdem Türel put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Sharma. Turan Türünk kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Sarı kaya FK's Ahmet Ege Yalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Sharma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Karol Panasewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ahmet Ege Yalaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Aykut Aşkın. Sarı kaya FK's Hasan Hüseyin Kayaalp was substituted for Tayfur Savni. Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Karol Panasewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 69th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Yalaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Haşim Çelikkan in the 77th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blue Mountain State fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarı kaya FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
