Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Urtsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Urtsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Caleufú's Fabiano Trabucco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute.
