After 3 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szczepan Polkoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Chicote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dawid Matela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szczepan Polkoski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Fontirroig went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso de la Cruz scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Szczepan Polkoski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Iwo Dubiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostdorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivia the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Kazimierz Gdowik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Szczepan Polkoski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia.
