Isidro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Boni came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Isidro Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Isidro Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Izel Guill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, RESISTIR SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Pitta to maneuver through the defense. RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sayvion Esoin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gombal Mateu charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gombal Mateu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Isidro Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sayvion Esoin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RESISTIR SC. The supporters of RESISTIR SC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izel Guill in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ecuador's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by RESISTIR SC. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isidro Boni firmly grabbed it by the left post. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by RESISTIR SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Pio Blasco tried in the game's 77th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Isidro Boni. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. RESISTIR SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
