When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Sten Vallman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bernard Kufner to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Matro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Sten Vallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bernard Kufner made a huge save. Karlo Radonić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Kufner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Vallman's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Natko Gajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 23rd minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the NK BRONZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Matro. ATILA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. NK BRONZIN were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after ATILA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natko Gajski took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Matro saved ATILA from getting behind. Bernard Kufner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Vallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Genadi Kotrulev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vallman came free, but Bernard Kufner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlo Radonić in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Placido Matro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Placido Matro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 65th minute. ATILA's Placido Matro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save ATILA from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp. Nereo Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bernard Kufner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Matro was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Karlo Radonić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karlo Radonić really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Florijan Posinjak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ATILA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Karlo Radonić scored to the left of an out of position Placido Matro, making the score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florijan Posinjak in the 92nd minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Janeš kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in NK BRONZIN's zone, Sten Vallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Kufner came out of the goal and Sten Vallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
