In the 7th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Avraam Iasonidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnold Lanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Club Ahja got a freekick which was hit by Andrus Kotkas. After 26 minutes of play, Club Ahja's Arnold Lanen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Iasonidis having to interfere. Henrik Anton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Anton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avraam Iasonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Arnold Lanen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Lanen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Jolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Anton in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Jolin in the 55th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 68th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ahja from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the game, Club Ahja's Arnold Lanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Julian Roberts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
