Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Horaţiu Pintilie got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolae Bosioc scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. 39 minutes into the game, Sever Crăiniceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Costin Pupăzan replaced Filip Braia. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Ciprian Halipa was substituted for Aurel Teodoroiu. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. In the 63rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niculae Rădvan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 69 minutes, Ciprian Halipa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Halipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Pintilie in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Pintilie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Pintilie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Bosioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Horaţiu Pintilie hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Bosioc to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Cazalla put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! 93 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC PIETROSUL -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
