Bertin Gandia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. FORZA BRESCIA's Donato Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play. Donato Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, FORZA BRESCIA's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Donato Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes of play, FORZA BRESCIA's Bertin Gandia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chile's Pedro Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iván Nadal, made in the 67th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile played a much better game than FORZA BRESCIA and deserved their victory. The FORZA BRESCIA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
