Guillermo Mariano made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Akademia Maliqi's Emmanuel Urruti. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akademia Maliqi's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Nastac in the 6th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Urruti, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kudret Hajdari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandru Nastac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandru Nastac showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alexandru Nastac made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Akademia Maliqi's Alexandru Nastac slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivón Echavarri in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akademia Maliqi were furious when Nexhat Zhiva was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Akademia Maliqi! Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hakkı Onur Olcay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. 77 minutes in the game Teobald Chrobak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kudret Hajdari. Alexandru Nastac scored 5-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Nastac in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Nastac in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Alexandru Nastac spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Venezuela's goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Akademia Maliqi had played much better football throughout.
