Denny Kok blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Kok in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AS Fonte Nuova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Corrado Micucci in the 29th minute. The corner led AS Fonte Nuova's Corrado Micucci to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, AS Fonte Nuova's Jacobo Nores threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denny Kok, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the game, Denny Kok cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Campitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Primitivo Escribano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the AS Fonte Nuova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Corrado Micucci. In the 44th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Venegas to maneuver through the defense. If Denny Kok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denny Kok was the one to do the kick off. Denny Kok scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Corrado Micucci shot a long shot in the 61st minute and a light blocked Jacobo Nores hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-0. Armando Pomponio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Corrado Micucci scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AS Fonte Nuova made a substitution. Cristoforo Costantino replaced Arrigo Rapone. When Denny Kok came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AS Fonte Nuova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Kok couldn't finish the play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Kok in the 84th minute of play. Juan Diego Tenorio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Kok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Kok came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AS Fonte Nuova.
