In the 2nd minute Amauri van Beek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Taveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Dula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Taveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Taveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Aldaír Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri van Beek came free, but Waldemar Dula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Brites made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John McDecland in the 11th minute of play. John McDecland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but João Brites made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Severo in the 15th minute of play forced Mira Sintra's goalkeeper João Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Brites made an important save on a dangerous shot by John McDecland in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Călin Dedu could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which João Brites however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute, NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Călin Dedu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amauri van Beek in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Dula saved NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mira Sintra's Vicente Taveira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Dedu got free with João Brites in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Călin Dedu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but João Brites made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Amauri van Beek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's Waldemar Dula. Waldemar Dula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Brites made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Dedu in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amauri van Beek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Călin Dedu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Dula was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Vicente Taveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Taveira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Severo in the 68th minute of play forced Mira Sintra's goalkeeper João Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Dula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mira Sintra's Éder Couto was substituted for Vicente Taveira. João Brites made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Dedu in the 87th minute of play. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
