In the 16th minute, Armindo Sabrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Sales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alípio Rego having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Hu Jian Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Jian Yi in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Orlan in the 31st minute of play forced Arrifana FC's goalkeeper Hélio Póvoas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alípio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Bellomo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Bellomo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alípio Rego saved Bembenfica from getting behind. Hu Jian Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Rego having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dario Orlan made the kick off in the second half. Alípio Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hu Jian Yi in the 57th minute. Amos Bellomo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alípio Rego made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Qu Ting Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Arrifana FC booed when Bembenfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Sabrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bembenfica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alípio Rego should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Arrifana FC's Alípio Rego threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hu Jian Yi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Vitor Roque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
