Hélio Póvoas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri van Beek in the 37th minute of the match. Hélio Póvoas came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Mira Sintra's Vicente Taveira. But to his dismay, Vicente Taveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amauri van Beek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Hu Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Canor Posse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mira Sintra and the Arrifana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mira Sintra getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Canor Posse hit a great ball. Arrifana FC's Hélio Póvoas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Arrifana FC from getting a goal against them. Hélio Póvoas was a little too slow when Amauri van Beek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. Amos Bellomo got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toni Huarte. After 85 minutes of play, Arrifana FC's Mihály Pulai made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Brites was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mira Sintra's Éder Couto was substituted for Vicente Taveira. After a rather tough play, Mira Sintra's Claudemiro Peixoto got a free kick in the 90th minute. Amos Bellomo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. João Brites tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mira Sintra players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arrifana FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
