Iustin Teodor hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Angelsø to make the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gian Weidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Giovana F C throughout the match.
