Emílio Bandeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Jairo Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milosz Kuszczak. Blue Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Emílio Bandeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Columbo in the 34th minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Olavo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milosz Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Veiga in the 35th minute of play. Jiang Jun Yin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Olavo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milosz Kuszczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Hamberg's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the game, Peppone Berg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cassandros Elite Team the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Peppone Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Bandeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milosz Kuszczak having to make a save. The Blue Lions FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cassandros Elite Team were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolf Hamberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Blue Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veiga came free, but Milosz Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Panit Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Jun Yin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Blue Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Pisarczyk to maneuver through the defense. Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peppone Berg in the 67th minute of play. Jiang Jun Yin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blue Lions FC! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Milosz Kuszczak. In the 81st minute, Zbyszko Puzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Lisandro Guerreiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blue Lions FC's Milosz Kuszczak didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Rolf Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milosz Kuszczak was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Jaroslaw Bator hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
