GFG VOEL's Sonni Fjøle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Hamberg in the 82nd minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Ogün Sarper heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Ali Perker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cassandros Elite Team getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ogün Sarper hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes, GFG VOEL's Andreas Pirlo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olavo Pinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GFG VOEL reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GFG VOEL eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
