Fernando Amorebieta succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's Fernando Amorebieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bram Reinhard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Go Ahead Eagles's corner Cássio Gonçalves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bram Reinhard quite easily take care of the ball. The referee ignored De Kasteelheren's protests and gave Ferdi Vorenkamp a yellow card for diving instead.
