Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Merlot in the 3rd minute of the match. Kryspin Cupial didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörgen Bjurström went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute, Don Merlot made a precise shot to the right of Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 10th minute, Niclas Monschke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Merlot in the 13th minute of play. Niclas Monschke scored 1-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Östen Olsson made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SSV Ulm 1846's Jose Ramon Talcao. 18 minutes into the game, Don Merlot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ove Hake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Don Merlot notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake. Ove Hake was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. 29 minutes into the match, Don Merlot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Merlot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. After 31st play minutes Niclas Monschke shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Ove Hake and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvin Bergkvist during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Nils Liedholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Bergkvist. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Bjurström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Niclas Monschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Monschke in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nils Liedholm IF's zone, Niclas Monschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Hake came out of the goal and Niclas Monschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Don Merlot notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake. Ove Hake was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Hake was a little too slow when Niclas Monschke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-11. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot. But to his dismay, Don Merlot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-12. Don Merlot might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Hake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Merlot ran back to his position shaking his head. Niclas Monschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Merlot took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Hake. Ove Hake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-13. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Bjurström in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Cupial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, SSV Ulm 1846's Niclas Monschke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-15. 84 minutes in the game, Niclas Monschke fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ove Hake having to interfere. Don Merlot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-17 in the 88th playminute. After 93rd play minutes Niclas Monschke shot 1-18, a short shot which went by Ove Hake and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match was over SSV Ulm 1846 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nils Liedholm IF throughout the match.
