After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Juliusz Giertych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Juliusz Giertych's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Hake was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Juliusz Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. If Wit Rzeszutek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvin Bergkvist hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Juliusz Giertych came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gunners ARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juliusz Giertych couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes, Karl-Oskar Fridlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nils Liedholm IF and the Gunners ARS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Karl-Oskar Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Gunners ARS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nils Liedholm IF.
