The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafa Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugó Révész in the 11th minute. Hugó Révész's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafa Vianna firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugó Révész got free with Rafa Vianna in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Jimmy Hjälm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Taffarel. Keszi Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmy Hjälm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24th minute, Hugó Révész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Porjus booed when Keszi Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özkan İlhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Orlando Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mason Greenwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Mason Greenwood came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugó Révész made a kick off. Hugó Révész might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafa Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugó Révész ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hugó Révész came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Keszi Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugó Révész couldn't finish the play. Keszi Athletic made a substitution. Aquilino Castelo Branco was slow to take the kick. During this time Keszi Athletic's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aquilino Castelo Branco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Porjus's Rafa Vianna did a great save. Keszi Athletic's Isac Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keszi Athletic were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Porjus for a fine match.
