Fokke Meijeringh came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg. But to his dismay, Rolf Hamberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Jairo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fokke Meijeringh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Hamberg in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Jairo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Jairo Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Fokke Meijeringh. De Kasteelheren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Zacarias Garcez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Harold Rodenboog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Olavo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Amaral was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Rodenboog came free, but Olavo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Rodenboog in the 53rd minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Olavo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cassandros Elite Team booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Hoebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olavo Pinto. Olavo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Panit Varela hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Josué Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fokke Meijeringh was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
