Peter Blomkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Hake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Blomkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Blomkvist scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörgen Bjurström kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Karl-Oskar Fridlund got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Ove Hake was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 42nd minute of the match. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist. But to his dismay, Peter Blomkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörgen Bjurström made a kick off. Peter Blomkvist scored 0-11 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Pietro Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ove Hake. The goal made the score 0-12. In the 63rd minute, Pietro Salles made a precise shot to the right of Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. The crowd rose to their feet as Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ove Hake. That made the score 0-14 after 68 minutes of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. Ove Hake was a little too slow when Pietro Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-15. William Lebigot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Hake having to make a save. 76 minutes in the game, Pietro Salles fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ove Hake having to interfere. Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pietro Salles 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-16. Pietro Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pietro Salles in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Hake saved Nils Liedholm IF from getting behind. Karl-Oskar Fridlund charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Oskar Fridlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 83 minutes into the game, Pietro Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-17. Ove Hake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles. But to his dismay, Pietro Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. When William Lebigot came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Lebigot couldn't finish the play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ played a much better game than Nils Liedholm IF and deserved their victory. The Nils Liedholm IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
