Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Marco Quental made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Kevin Lameiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Quental's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hilário Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Graham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 16th minute of play forced Safira Harammes's goalkeeper Hilário Figueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Safira Harammes's Kevin Lameiras quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertie Johnson, made in the 19th minute of the game. Marco Quental might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Quental ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Safira Harammes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Campos to maneuver through the defense. When Vítor Campos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. After 25 played minutes Safira Harammes got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Campos. Hilário Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 26th minute of play. Hilário Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 28th minute of the match. Donato Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Safira Harammes's Joaquim Graça got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes, Curacao's Kyle Davies shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hilário Figueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curacao reached it. In the 37th minute Kyle Davies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Safira Harammes's Hilário Figueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilário Figueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Curacao booed when Safira Harammes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Quental didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Baltasar Bettencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Safira Harammes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. 47 minutes into the game, one of Safira Harammes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half Curacao were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Rocco Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Safira Harammes players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the match, Safira Harammes's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Davies came free, but Hilário Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Stanley Wallace recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hilário Figueira. Stanley Wallace showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Safira Harammes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curacao:s goal. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Curacao's Kyle Davies got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hilário Figueira. In the 85th minute, Marco Quental hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanley Wallace came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hilário Figueira could save by the left post. In the 88th minute, Curacao's Marshall Graham ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilário Figueira. Hilário Figueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hilário Figueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Safira Harammes's zone, Stanley Wallace stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilário Figueira came out of the goal and Stanley Wallace tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Curacao booed when Safira Harammes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Quental didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Curacao left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Safira Harammes.
