A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lisandro Guerreiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Cassandros Elite Team's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Olavo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg. But to his dismay, Rolf Hamberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Rolf Hamberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Rolf Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Hamberg came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pedroso in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Hamberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Veiga went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Hector Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Jairo Veiga notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emílio Bandeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cassandros Elite Team fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Cassandros Elite Team's Rolf Hamberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Jairo Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rolf Hamberg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cassandros Elite Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf Hamberg couldn't finish the play. Cassandros Elite Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
