In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Göran Kvalfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Rudqvist struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fabio Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lite Finare Lite Bättre. After 17 minutes, Stefan Bjursell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lite Finare Lite Bättre and the Mi querida Fabiola players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Elija couldn't finish the play. After 38 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Arne Ek. A collision led to Mi querida Fabiola getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leo Elija hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Filipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ivan Rudqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Filipo. Fabio Filipo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Ivan Rudqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Filipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 56th minute, Leo Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mi querida Fabiola's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Rudqvist came free, but Fabio Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fabio Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mi querida Fabiola defense, Ove Hökkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Filipo. The Mi querida Fabiola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Filipo should have stopped the shot. Mi querida Fabiola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
