De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hyklerne the free kick. Ate Oldenbeuving kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Vilfred Schiøtz might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernard Mülder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilfred Schiøtz ran back to his position shaking his head. De Kasteelheren's attentive Hans-Cees Mol managed to snatch the ball when Ludwig Collaitz made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Hasan Bræmdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Carels in the 11th minute of the match. When De Kasteelheren's Ate Oldenbeuving in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Hyklerne's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 played minutes FC Hyklerne got a freekick which was hit by Amadeus Paabøl. Hasan Bræmdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdi Carels's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Bernard Mülder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilfred Schiøtz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, De Kasteelheren's Ferdi Carels made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Bræmdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Ate Oldenbeuving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29th play minutes Ferdi Carels shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Hasan Bræmdal and just under the crossbar into goal. Hasan Bræmdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ate Oldenbeuving, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjoerd van Asten to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Ludwig Collaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Bræmdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Cees Mol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Hub Groten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ate Oldenbeuving in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan Bræmdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilfred Schiøtz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeus Paabøl in the 53rd minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bernard Mülder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Israel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ate Oldenbeuving could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Hasan Bræmdal made a huge save. Hasan Bræmdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Carels, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. De Kasteelheren's Sjoerd van Asten got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeus Paabøl's late challenge caught a De Kasteelheren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeus Paabøl helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Pieter-Jan Staarman in the 68th minute really tested Hasan Bræmdal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as De Kasteelheren's Ferdi Carels slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hasan Bræmdal. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. Ferdi Carels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Bræmdal having to interfere. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when FC Hyklerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Sauna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Mülder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeus Paabøl in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Mathieu Onrust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ate Oldenbeuving got free with Hasan Bræmdal in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hasan Bræmdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdi Carels's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Amadeus Paabøl hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ate Oldenbeuving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th of the match, Ferdi Carels tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hasan Bræmdal got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 96th minute, Sjoerd van Asten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hasan Bræmdal. The goal made the score 1-4. When the match was over De Kasteelheren could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Hyklerne throughout the match.
