The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Lázaro Timo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, Leonardo Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Malewicki. FC Szczucin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Silvio Pirro struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Filip Malewicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Diamante U18. If Ulises Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Szczucin's Filip Malewicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Baraquiel in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute Lázaro Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Malewicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Pirro. Vladimiro Juvenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Jan Bielatowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Szczucin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Diamante U18 the free kick. A collision led to FC Szczucin getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jan Bielatowicz hit a great ball. Leonardo Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Malewicki having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Timo to make the kick off. If Leonardo Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Pirro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Szczucin defense, Lázaro Timo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Malewicki. The FC Szczucin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Malewicki should have stopped the shot. Filip Malewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Juvenal in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lázaro Timo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 80 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Baraquiel. Mikolaj Ziombkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Sindo having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Juvenal notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Szczucin's Filip Malewicki. Filip Malewicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deportivo Diamante U18's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
