Miro Klose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Aigle to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Amadeo Brase got a free kick in the 10th minute. Edvin Bergkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvin Bergkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Luka Roth sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake didn't even have to move. In the 17th minute, SSV Ulm 1846's Miro Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ove Hake. Ove Hake yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Adam Dieler scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Dieler in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute SSV Ulm 1846 were awarded a corner. Luka Roth went to the cornerflag to take it. SSV Ulm 1846's Constantin Brenner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ove Hake in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Erich Pitten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Apelkvist went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Karl-Oskar Fridlund kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Adam Dieler got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 45 minutes, Östen Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nils Liedholm IF and the SSV Ulm 1846 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nils Liedholm IF getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Östen Olsson hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Apelkvist made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Olsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Nils Liedholm IF's Karl-Oskar Fridlund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Oskar Fridlund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nils Liedholm IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Oskar Fridlund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Karl-Oskar Fridlund got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by SSV Ulm 1846's Miro Klose. But to his dismay, Miro Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 73 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's John Apelkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erich Pitten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erich Pitten made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Apelkvist in the 74th minute. In the 84th minute, Harry Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Adam Dieler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Dieler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miro Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Zebastian Österlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Apelkvist in the 95th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Erich Pitten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SSV Ulm 1846 had won after a very even match.
