The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filip Malewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Sellberg in the 6th minute of play. If Torgny Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Hult's late challenge caught a FC Szczucin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Hult helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes White Hart Lane got a freekick which was hit by Anton Hult. Karol Haskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, White Hart Lane's Reine Kalfhage nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Malewicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of White Hart Lane booed when FC Szczucin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Panasewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedykt Zuraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Billy Bolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Sellberg came free, but Filip Malewicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Bolin made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Benedykt Zuraw sent off a good shot on target. Billy Bolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Zuraw in the 34th minute. Zbyszko Panasewicz got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. FC Szczucin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Hart Lane the free kick. 55 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Filip Malewicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Kalfhage. White Hart Lane were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FC Szczucin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olov Alefors took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Olov Alefors got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filip Malewicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 60 minutes into the match, White Hart Lane's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Zuraw came free, but Billy Bolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jan Bielatowicz fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Szczucin's protests and gave Jan Bielatowicz a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Jan Bielatowicz. In the 67th minute Benedykt Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Bolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Bergstens short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Filip Malewicki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 73 minutes, Reine Kalfhage made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Szczucin's Filip Malewicki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lars-Erik Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedykt Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, White Hart Lane's Reine Kalfhage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filip Malewicki. Filip Malewicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. White Hart Lane walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
