The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Isaias Piearres a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fabio Filipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Paul in the 20th minute. Lázaro Timo in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Filipo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Lázaro Timo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evelio Mikelar's late challenge caught a Deportivo Diamante U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Mikelar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Mi querida Fabiola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Mikelar to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Fabio Filipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Joel Oliverio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Eufemio in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Macerio saved Deportivo Diamante U18 from getting behind. Mi querida Fabiola's Fabio Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Timo in the 91st minute of play. When Deportivo Diamante U18's Lázaro Timo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mi querida Fabiola's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Diamante U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
