Filip Malewicki came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Erwin Lanting. But to his dismay, Erwin Lanting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filip Malewicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Bosstraeten in the 12th minute of the match. FC Szczucin's Filip Malewicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Rijaard in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erwin Lanting in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Malewicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Carlo Bosstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Kasteelheren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to FC Szczucin getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jan Bielatowicz hit a great ball. Olof Rijaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Mathieu Onrust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Carlo Bosstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Filip Malewicki. FC Szczucin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 40 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Karol Haskiewicz. Filip Malewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Lanting in the 41st minute of play. Filip Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Rijaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half De Kasteelheren were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olof Rijaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Erwin Lanting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the FC Szczucin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erwin Lanting hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Erwin Lanting reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filip Malewicki. The goal made the score 0-7. After 55 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Lanting. After a defensive mix-up in De Kasteelheren's zone, Jan Bielatowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Mülder came out of the goal and Jan Bielatowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karol Haskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Olof Rijaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Filip Malewicki made a huge save. Filip Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Bosstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Mülder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Zuraw in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Benedykt Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Mülder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Malewicki was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Erwin Lanting capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erwin Lanting really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Erwin Lanting who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Filip Malewicki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Bosstraeten in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Filip Malewicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-8 became the score in the 75th minute when Jan Bielatowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erwin Lanting in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Malewicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, De Kasteelheren's Olof Rijaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Malewicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The De Kasteelheren fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when De Kasteelheren's Olof Rijaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute Erwin Lanting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Malewicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Malewicki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erwin Lanting showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-11 in the 93 minute of play. Olof Rijaard came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Filip Malewicki could save by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. De Kasteelheren walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
