Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Jakobsson in the 31st minute of the match. If Reine Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. White Hart Lane's Billy Bolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 52nd minute of play. Billy Bolin made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Birger Kleen sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Bjurström got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in White Hart Lane's zone, Zebastian Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Bolin came out of the goal and Zebastian Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Bjurström got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, White Hart Lane's goalkeeper Billy Bolin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Kleen. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by White Hart Lane's Reine Kalfhage. But to his dismay, Reine Kalfhage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 81st minute, Marc Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Nils Liedholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Bjurström. Nils Liedholm IF's Kalle Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. White Hart Lane's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
